In 2009, Amelia Ong completed her studies at the Western AustralianAcademy of Performing Arts where she majored in Jazz Performance. Sincethen she has performed in international jazz festivals, such as the JavaJazz International Festival in Jakarta and the World Youth Jazz Festivalin Malaysia.



Amelia began singing and playing the piano at the age of 4. Today she’sdeveloped a concept for herself with a wide repertoire of jazzstandards, which gives her a new age edge in her compositions andperformances, and has made her mark in the Australian and Indonesianmusic industry as a young and fresh, Jazz & Soul artist.



Performing with her will be Hady Afro Quartet. Led by Hady Afro onguitar, Tengku Indra (founder of New Village Music Lab) on piano, AmarAzalan on bass and Bob Skunjaz on drums.


THE ORGANISER

No Black Tie, or NBT as it is affectionately known, is KL's Premier Jazz Club & Gastro-Bar. Unparalleled in it's acoustics, NBT's stage has seen the likes of stellar Malaysian and international jazz, classical, blues, folk or the spoken word acts.
